I just finished Shinzanmono - the newest drama by Abe Hiroshi, some detective story based in a surreal town in suburban Tokyo.
Ningyo-cho attracts me to the point that I feel like going to Tokyo just to visit that place and walk the streets. Wonder if I'll be disappointed with what I see, cause of course the shops, the people in the drama were all there to move the story along.. but somehow I think I might still enjoy it. And i enjoyed the drama a lot - I haven't seen a drama I liked so much in a while really. The story wasn't super good from a murder mystery point of view - the murderer was kind of anti-climatic - but Abe Hiroshi was understatedly good, and like I said, the town has an attraction.

Finally completed my Nodame Cantabile journey with the finale movie yesterday - both Cheryl and I felt it to be a little draggy. Though the whole nodame experience, from the 1st episode of the drama, to the TV specials, to the 2 movies, was rather something Im glad I managed to go through. Love that Tamaki Hiroshi got his deserved recognition.
I realise there are some things I really like doing.
You like many different things, half of which a normal person wouldn't think so far as to likeある人は私についてそう語りました。誇り意味ではないけど、本当の事なんだから私がちょっとだけうれしいです。
I like buying cakes for someone's birthday - something not from bengawan solo, or prima deli, or anything like that. Something different, less heard of, and something I know that person will like. =)
I like watching bus driver uncles wave to each other when they pass in opposite directions on the road.
I like making sure that all my song titles are written in the original language they're supposed to be in - even the Korean ones I cannot read (I just guess in the end >_<)
and I like taking a new road I've never walked before in my life, and just having the time to decide what I want to do when I get to wherever I get to.
That day waiting for Hemma I took the Circle Line and just got off at Promenade station just because. The moment I came out from underground I saw the entrance to PARCO Millenia Walk. I think I smiled the biggest smile I did that day. Love these trips that happen on a whim.
